Based on the printing method, we can distinguish two basic groups of printers: thermal transfer and thermal printers:
THERMAL TRANSFER PRINTERS
They print using thermal transfer ribbon. In most cases, the thermal transfer printer can, if necessary, be used as a thermal printer, but the thermal transfer print is much more stable, and therefore it is widely used in industry and logistics (marking goods, logistics labels).
THERMAL PRINTERS
They print on a special paper coated with thermo-sensitive material. The method of obtaining the image is similar to thermal transfer method, however, it requires a special type of paper. This paper is coated with a thermo-sensitive material which, under the influence of heat provided by the print head, is discoloured. Printing does not require the use of thermal transfer ribbons, and its biggest advantage is low operating cost, at the expense of low resistance to temperature and external factors.
Our offer includes a wide range of printers of reputable and globally recognised companies ZEBRA and SATO. These printers are used both for work in office and industrial conditions, they are widely applied in automatic identification.
